1-The closer to the ground, the safer it is

The reason why floor beds are recommended in the Montessori method is to ensure that children can use the bed safely. When the bed is raised from the ground and the height of the inner bed is added to it, falling off the bed can harm the little ones.

2- More hygienic

You may have noticed how quickly the places you wipe down when cleaning your house get dusty. Dust on the floor, hair, etc., many volatile particles are collected especially on the edges and corners of the rooms with the breeze at home. This means that when your bed is higher from the ground, you are willing to make a constant effort to clean the bottom of the bed.

3- More useful for children

Toys take up a lot of space in your children’s lives and are very important to them. For children of all ages, the fact that their little toys or pencils roll under the bed is not something you or your child wants. With the Montessori bed, you don’t need to worry about constantly bending down to pull them out.

4- Strong and ergonomic

When the bed is raised from the ground, the weight is put on the frame. This limits the carrying capacity. With the Good Night Kid Bed, there is no weight limit! The slats are separate from the bed frame and the floor can be cleaned easily by removing it from the bed.

5-Healthy inner bed environment

In classic bed base beds, the bed is placed on a flat surface and the bed does not get air since there is no gap between the bottom surface and the bed. Due to the lath design of the Good Night Kid Beds, the bed does not touch the floor therefore the bed takes air.

For these five important reasons, our Montessori beds are not made higher from the ground.
